The Aircraft

The 3-axis LSA

The Aeroprakt A22 Foxbat/Rotax 912uls 100hp

The Foxbat ZU-ESB is used in our school for 3axis fixed wing training. Click here for the specifications on the aircraft.

Light Flight instructors will instruct students to PPL standards and are not as restricted as a PPL student in the sence of VFR flight.

Your fixed wing instructors are Geoff Dyer "A Grade", Noel McDonogh "B Grade" and soon to be Brad Isaacson.

This aircraft looks like, and in some cases will out perform a traditional aircraft, maybe not in speed but in fuel consumption climb and manoeuvrability.

The weightshift or flexwing type of aircraft.

Aquilla1 Solowings microlight with a Rotax 618/74hp.

This aircraft has a trike unit suspended under a wing evolved from the hang-glider. Control is by using the control bar to shift the weight of the trike (ie the combined mass of the pod, engine and occupants) relative to the wing. The instructor will sit on the back seat and teach the student on the front seat. The instructor has full control from the back with the training bars on the "A" frame and a foot throttle on the right foot.

The Aquilla is used in our school for microlight weightshift training. Click here for the specifications on the Aquilla.

The Aerotrike Safari below is also apart of our school in the WCM type

Click here for specifications on the Aerotrike Safari.
